Caregivers Support Group
The next gathering of Covenant's Caregivers Support Group will be on Sunday, April 30 from 12:15-1:30pm. This caring and understanding group is open to all who are a primary caregiver for a loved one, either locally or from a distance, and new people are always welcome. With an opportunity to share our stories, we gather to hear one another's joys and struggles of caring for someone we love who is going through a difficult period, and we seek to offer wisdom and support to one another. Lunch is provided at our gatherings. This group is open to anyone who finds themselves, or anticipates finding themselves, in a caregiving role-Covenant members and friends, neighbors, one and all! For more information, contact Pastor Clara Thompson or in person.

"2:42" Group
Meets 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 4:00pm
2:42 is a group that looks to reflect the early Christian community as seen in Acts 2:42. 2:42 meets on the second and fourth Sunday of the month from 4:00-6:00pm, with childcare provided from 4:00-5:00pm. Each week, we meet at 4:00pm for a time of small group Bible study using the Wired Word curriculum, which takes a look at current events through a Christian lens. After Bible study, we gather to break bread together at dinner. This group is a great chance to meet other members and friends of Covenant, and a good chance to grow together in our faith. Everyone is welcome to join. No need to RSVP, but it helps to know how much food we need. If you and/or your family is interested in becoming joining this group please let us know by contacting Jenny Von Bergen or Pastor Jeff Fox-Kline and we'll see you there! "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." Acts 2:42

Mindfulness Meditation Practice
Sunday mornings, 10:00-10:50am in Room A107
Members and friends interested in practicing mindfulness meditation in a small group setting are invited to participate Sunday mornings at 10:00am in Room A107, located on the lower level of the adult education wing. If you have questions, please contact Cindy Schally.

Knitting & Crochet Group
Meets 1st Wednesdays of the month at 10:00am in the Lounge

In past years women in this group, along with several other women in the congregation, made many pairs of mittens, hats, scarves, baby sweaters and prayer shawls. The donation of time, talent and yarn will touch the lives and warm the hands and heads of many children and young adults in Madison and hearts of Covenant members. The group is always open to anyone who might like to stop by and work on a personal project or learn a new one. This is a great place to learn how to knit or crochet. We have extra yarn and needles to start you in a new hobby. Contact Alicia Mundy if you have any questions.

Soul Sisters
Soul Sisters March gathering will be held at the home of Kris Anderson on Sunday, April 9 at 7:00pm. The discussion will be led by Nancy Gunder on the topic, "I Experience Growth Through Taking Risks." Light refreshments will be served. If you can attend, please RSVP to Kris so that she knows how many people to expect.

Soul Sisters is a small group open to all Covenant women. Its focus is on caring, thought-provoking discussions and fellowship. If you would like to be included in future e-mails about meetings, please contact Sally Lorenz.

Women's Friday Book Club
Meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month; 9:30-11:00am
The Women's Friday Book Club meets on the first and third Fridays of the month from 9:30am to 11:00am in Covenant's Library. Come join us Friday, April 7th and April 21st. For information or to add your name to our email list, contact Kris Anderson.

Eat, Pray, Laugh!
The young (and young-at-heart) Covenant women meet quarterly in the comfort of their homes to deepen their friendships with one another and try new (mostly) healthy recipes. The gathering time chosen allows them to return home in time for bedtime stories, help with homework, and to prepare themselves for the upcoming work week. All Covenant ladies and their friends are invited. If you would like further information about the Eat, Pray Laugh small group, please contact Group Coordinator, Heather Potter or call (608) 444-3877.

Dinners For Eight Program

"Make New Friends, But Keep the Old..."
Covenant's long-running Dinners For Eight program is for everyone; couples, singles or families. Groups gather monthly for food and fellowship. The group size is kept small, typically 8-10 people. While many groups meet for dinner, others prefer a lunch or a brunch option. Each group decides what they would like to do. Some groups incorporate community activities such as movies, games, concerts or mission projects. Whatever your group decides, you can be sure it will be a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and fun with your Covenant family. For more information, contact Lisa Cantrell.
