"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
come into the Lord's presence with singing."
These words from Psalm 100 describe the children's music program at Covenant. We celebrate the joyful sounds of children singing, playing rhythm instruments,and just clapping their hands. The following opportunities are available for children at Covenant.
All Kindergarten-8th grade children are invited to come sing with the Children's Celebration Choir! Celebration Choir meets from 10:50-11:20am in Room B103. Children come to choir from Sunday School. After choir, they should either return to worship (K and 1st graders can go to Kaleidoscope), or go home with their parent.
Summer Musical: 3-year-old through 8th grade children are invited to participate in a Vacation Bible School Musical experience for a week in June. The musical is presented during Sunday morning worship.
Liturgical Dance: Liturgical dance is a creative enhancement of the worship experience as dancers respond to sacred or religious hymns and music. All 3rd-7th graders are invited to be part of the Souls of Praise Dance group.
